Greetings, This survey equipment was an estate find. The compass is brass,the only marking is France on the face. It is 4 & 1/4" wide. The only survey compass that I could find with a level in it was for geological (minning) The tripod is market K & E Co. N.Y. It is all brass.I know what K&E stand for. I cannot identify the year and maker of the compass. Furthermore I cannot identify the year ,model or designation of the tripod. Any help would be appreciated.
