Ok here it goes... This is my first piece, I mean my first Art Glass and it is signed Poschinger on the bottom. I got it on Feb. 7, 2013 at Alexanders Auction in Richmond VA. I think its beautyful, any help on what this is or what I should be looking for on the next one or what books to get would be wonderful... I think I found a deep passion in art glass!!!

This piece dates from the 60's-? (I am not sure how long they made these stretch glass forms.) from a very good and famous company called Poschinger in the Bavarian Forest. They are still in business today and are most renown for their wares from the turn of the last century.

Greatsnowyowl is correct. This is a newer piece of Poschinger. Most often found in red and blue. Go to GOOGLE and search Red Poschinger Vase.
