    This is an Irish glass salt boat, circa 1790. The bowl has a wheat husk pattern running around it and star cut base.
    The wheat husk pattern is one that was commonly used by Irish glass houses.
    I bought this off someone in Ireland on eBay with another salt boat for £6.50
