Pallette & Bench - 1910 Magazine on Upscale Country Crafts

I picked up a couple of these beautiful old magazines at the Alameda Flea Market a few months ago. It's kind of the opposite of The International Studio Magazine which i also collect. Whereas the Studio is kind of snooty and from sort of an art critic point of view, this one is all about the basics - how to create beautiful crafts and exposes people to some very interesting techniques. This issue has a beautiful article on Japanese silhouettes, an article on tools for chip carving, and an interesting competition to design a golf score booklet.
