Does anyone have any idea as to the origin and purpose of this piece? I have not been able to find anything similar online!
It would appear that it was used as some kind of commercial display piece? It is double sided- There is no access through the front (pictured). It appears it was intended for viewing only? The front center piece has a mirror and carved frame top.
The back of the cabinet has 5 separate doors/cupboards with brass handles. There are no keyholes. The back upper right and left cupboards of the cabinet have 4 adjustable wooden shelves (one side pictured) with a glass front. The back lower right, left and center cupboards also have shelving brackets - but no visibility from the front of the piece.
Any Ideas?
