This print hung in my parents home in the 1960's - 70's.
I'm not sure who the artist is. My father was an Architect in Dallas from 1961 - 2013 he acquired my pieces that are still in the closet after being displayed many years.
This is by Adolph Gottlieb, who did a lot of similar compositions. The black part goes at the bottom. If it is signed and numbered, then it's a print. Otherwise it's a nice poster. Congrats!
