    This RPPC depicts two US doughboys in a photographers prop plane.

    I love the stylistic approach to the aircraft-- I doubt this thing could actually fly!

    The background depicts a battle scene of attacking troops, artillery shelling and an airplane shoot down.

    The is a French postcard and most likely dates from the end of the War.

    Reproduction of these images in any form is prohibited.

      Appears to be a very early sample of superimposing or heads thru a backdrop.
