I'm struggling here, I have no idea what this could be used for?? Its one of those things with a specific purpose, anyone have a clue? Its 17" tall!

You think wine, really? Its definitely some kind of decanter, its got the pour-spout at the top. It seems a little large for one bottle of wine?

not a fancy one but it is used (along with a thermometer looking piece)to measure alcohol proof.Just an idea?!
