    # 12409596 - Handmade Wooden Asian Puzzle Box w/Moving Parts $49.99 1 $49.99 Hello I liked this so I bought! The last photo is one from internet and 119 moves correctly to open!! Some are 129, some 126! This old box the owner never could open and it is stuck!! I read Samurai's used these to send messages! Really! I read this! Maybe soak it for 3-4 days in WD-40! I shook it and seems to be small rattle inside!! So I want to open, but I probably can not, but my son might be able to! I will offer him $25. to open! haha and watch him suffer! haha But the inlay work on this is fantastic!! All 6 sides!! My luck the last few weeks is incredible!! But my luck would have to increase 1000% to open this Box! Maybe gold coin inside!! haha just dreaming!!! Thanks for looking!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SHRINK WOOD SO THE PIECES SLIDE EASIER??? Thanks Don

I just sent you some suggestions on your other post. Hope you can get it open

There would be two reasons it doesn't open. One, it's broken. If the slides move more or less than they obviously should, something within the wooden mechanism is broken. What you hear rattling could be a small piece of wood. Each slide should only move a small amount at a time. The second reason is it's stuck and the most common reason is humidity. Keep it in an air conditioned room where the humidity isn't too high or low. If you have a glass display cabinet, put it in there with a glass of water for awhile. Over time it could correct itself. Good luck

OK I will call the Japanese Temple here where I live and see if anyone there knows how! I will let you know if anything is inside!

7.32" in a 6 sun ( pronounced soo-n) which is considered a large box. There are slight variations, hence yours being slightly bigger.
