    1st photo is my mouse trap! 2nd. photo is 100 year old home made Victorian from Lavington Museum, which I believe is in Wales, 2nd photo is Pennsylvania Dutch Museum 3rd photo is GREAT FROM CHRISTIE'S AUCTION SOLD FOR $2,947.!!! THE ENGLISH DID NOT MESS AROUND!! THIS WHEN MOUSE TRIGGERED IT, A LARGE IRON BAR CRUSHED HIM!!! HE NEVER KNEW WHAT HIT HIM!!! I Believe it is Georgian!! Works like French Guillotine but crushes head, not cutting off head! thanks for looking

      A dutch friend made a simple trap just using a flat piece of wood & a plastic paint bucket. Put the bait on a flat stick over the bucket & balanced the stick on the ledge. Mouse went out the stick for the bait, stick & mouse fell into bucket with some water in the bottom & drowned. He got them all.

      I looked at a lot of traps, I guess wood ones are special. I saw an ad with a big iron one from the late 30's and Bing Crosby photo was on it! Guess he made money from mouse traps!
