Hi there, I got this lovely piece in today and thought it was unique. An elderly gentlemen that I bought it from said it was from Finland where his wife is from yet didn't know anything about it. He just wanted to sell it for the sterling silver, so I bought it for $5. It has a signature with the name Emil on it. The letter "M" in the name has a plus sign/cross in the middle, so it's like 3/4 of a square with plus sign in the middle to make the "M" letter. It has K.WIINAMAKI inside alomg with a hallmark of what looks to be a deep inscribed heart with a crown inside the heart, a rectangle with the numbers 813.H, a deep circle with what looks to be a cross of some kind and an oval shape with "S.5" inside of that. It looks like the utinsel used to pick up sugar cubes for tea. I would like to know the history and the meaning of the markings. Thank you very much,
    Lisa

Hello Lisaarose! Welcome to CW. Could you possibly post a close up of the Hallmarks. I would like to help you but it is hard without seeing the hallmarks. In the meantime I will try based on your description. Lovely piece!

Thank you very much. Absolutely, I will take some pic as soon as I get home with my son's phone. How exactly do I post more pic of it so they can be viewed with my post? I appreciate the help :)
