This sweet vase arrived today, I bought it because it was an unusual shape (well to me anyhow)! I really did not take much notice of the size given on it! So you can imagine my delighted surprise when this tiny little vase came out of the bubblewrap! It stands a little over 4" high, has a beautiful blue iridescence to it with a little gilded decoration and the lovely frill around it. There is a little rubbing to the gilding around the neck and top, but I really don't mind!! I think it is exquisite! I am just wondering is it Bohemian, why would it have been made this small (I think too big for a doll's house) and when would it have been made. Anyone out there is CW land that can shed some light I would be most interested. Many thanks as ever!! : ) You will have to enlarge pic 3 to compare vase size!
Hand Blown Egyptian Perfume Bottle!! Thanks to all!

This is very beautiful. I don't think it is meant to be a vase. It looks like a hand blown Egyptian perfume bottle. The stopper is missing. Could be used as a vase.

Its an Egyptian perfume bottle actually, and the stopper is missing. I guess its a vase now though, lol

Thank you both kittyblosoms and Stillwater now I know what it is and what it was used for! I take it this is an item that is exported at the moment? The person I bought it from found it in a house clearance skip so knew nothing about it! Therefore I took a punt on it maybe having some age!! It is still a sweetie even if it is new!!!
