Can someone please tell me about this tray. I think it may be silver. This is all it says 4903 and the initials and a hand on it. I would appreciate any input. It is very heavy, no magnets stick to it and should I clean it or does it lower the value. Thank you so much. :)

Hello shellyC111. Welcome to CW! Thanks for posting your tray. In fact your tray is silver plated. It is made by Forbes Silver Co. Founded in 1894 as a division of the famous Meridien Britannia Co. You can match the hallmarks here:

      http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_F.html

Silver plated items are not usually worth much, but can have collectible value, and family history value. But in terms of silver, there is no value. If a magnet ever sticks to an item, it is a not a precious metal (gold, silver, platinum, or palladium). Thanks again!

How much do you think I could get on this tray on EBAY?

That's your job to find out, you'll have to check eBay's completed listings, same way we do it
