School House has a wood pendulum arm and Westminster Chimes. Wall clock is a old New Haven wall clock was a flea market find in poor shape with the movement beyond repair. I did the unthinkable and installed an electronic Westminster Chime unit and refinished the case. The wood arm pendulum is original. Next a 16th century reproduction single strike Skeleton clock. Last is the Black Forest cuckoo with rotating dancers.

I don't know what became of the movement but if you swap out a mechanical movement (which may not be practical or possible for most folks to repair) keep it stored away somewhere so it won't get lost or permanently separated from the clock. At the very least, it may serve as a "parts donor" movement. If you're pretty sure it won't be going back into the clock in your lifetime and you have no use for it, recycle it into the Horological community. You might get a couple of bucks for it on eBay if it is listed "For parts or repair". I don't know all of the details of your situation...so this is just a suggestion for consideration in the future. I probably should have held on to it but a friend who repaired clocks said he had never seen a movement in such bad condition
I wish I had before pictures of the clock
I spent 6 months rebuilding the case and had an artist friend touch up the dial just enough to read.
One day I would like to put a movement correct to the clock back in but right now I'm ok with the fake chimes
