This costume brooch I found yesterday. The colours are really unusual. It is about 3 inches wide and has a beautiful glass cabochon. It is marked "Germany" on the back; on the pin is engraved "Made in Germany." Since it is neither marked "made in East or West Germany" nor does it look like a recent creation (after 1989), I assume it must be from before WW II. What do you think?

Thanks for looking :)

Thanks ozmarty. I agree. It doesn't look like something one would buy new today. The taste has changed :)

I didn't love this 4 years ago did I? XOXO I don't collect filigree costume, but it must be from the 1940's if it's marked Germany :-)
