My best friend purchased this as a gift for us back in the late 1970's. It is from a small Scottish pottery in Larbert, Stirlingshire run by Barbara Davidson. The original label has been torn, but you can see her impressed "bd" mark on the right.
This is one of my favourite pieces as it reminds me of my homeland, and of course my best friend since high school, Ann who gave it to us all those years ago.
