During the late 40's into the early 1950's, horses started appearing on all types of clocks. Lawson, Telechron, Sessions, United etc came out with clocks replete with a horses, this is Pennwood's addition to the fray, Oh so wrong as it is.

The clock runs great, no growls, or stops. Sometime in it's sordid life the bottom became submerged in water. The Tymeter logo on the bottom is unreadable, the paint on the front of the clock has bubbled up probably from the same moisture that ruined the Tymeter logo on the bottom. The horse is in perfect condition as is the Bakelite case, no nicks or scratches. I suspect this clock dates from about 1955.

I collect Pennwood's and as bad as it is, it is a Pennwood.

Phil, I remember these horse clocks growing up. I have a clock with a small horse and the clock face in the center of a horseshoe.
