    I have found pulley from a 1800 built horse barn some with the wood still attached if interested they are valueable

      I have lived in maritime areas for over 40 years & love old wooden blocks & pulleys. Many have old coins pressed in over the axle pins to hold them in place. Really neat looking & some of the coins are really old. Well, interesting, but totally useless info.

      I know the findings are from a horse barn from RI when they first settled on the land and I have continued to proceed to find more and more as I continue to dig one is marked 1877 maybe sell or put into musuem

      photos 2& 3 are trolleys for a sliding barn door.
      The other pulley in pic #1 (4th from the right),is for the hay rope,which hung from the hay trolley.

      Thanks for the information I have spent hours of researching the old horse barns and am factuated with the history and maybe Ill have more tos show
