A senior rescue officer from the Midland CD region group 6 who's headquarters was at Stoke on Trent. For rank it has the 2 diamonds, most of the Country went over to the black bands for rank but this area carried on with the diamonds.
The helmet was made by BMB & dated 1939, the liner is also dated 39.
