Found a 1917 poster, from the Forbes Lithograph Manufacturing Company. The piece is copyrighted 1917 by the Hurcules Poweder Co. I do not believe this to be a propaganda poster, rather some type of advertisement piece. After doing some research the title of the piece is called, "Not this time Old, Pal".

I would greatly appreciate to know more about this poster, the company, and value of the piece. I purchased the poster in frame for $21.00.

    Enjoy.

The artist was Arthur Davenport Fuller. There are at least 2 prints in this series, "Not This Time Old Pal" and "A Surprise Party" The first 1917, leaving for war and the second 1919 coming home from war. Supposedly a third exists in the series, but I have yet to find any information on it.
There were two versions of this print, one was a calendar topper and other, more sought after was a stand alone for point of sale stores.

The point of sales poster measures 17 x 24 inches, if yours is any thinner, it was a calendar topper. $21.00 was OK for it's condition, excellent examples go for $250 to $350.00
