    My Gran was given this in New York in the 1950s. Was in Tiffany box but don't think this is related. Haven't seen another like it.

      Can't seem to make out the #'s on the back side of movement, That will date this for you. Example 10 54 would be Oct 1954

      The only number below the manufacturer is 56. there is also a number 2 below the F on the adjuster. Still working after all these years.

      Dave (pw-collector) has an earlier posting showing the date code and location for them, I'll look it up and leave the link to them;

      Thanks Kerry,
      Would like to know if anyone has come across one of these before and maybe tell me more about it.

      I've seen a few of this style on different makers watches, Ansonia, Westclox, etc., and I used to have one years ago, but don't remember what make the watch was. I don't believe these left the factory with these embellishments.

      Thanks Dave,
      So do you think the crown and face stones were added by another retailer, maybe it did come from Tiffanys as I have heard that 30% of their goods were from other manufacturers and did not carry their name.

      Debs,
      Probably done by a jeweler, maybe by request of owner, but I doubt if Tiffany would decorate an inexpensive "dollar watch" and attach their name to it.
      Dave
