Hello Again,
I've had this for a while. Bought it on ebay. Loved and love the shape, touches me in a sad way. Hope to do a painting based on it at some point.
I bought it after seeing a deer stepping slowly and majestically up the hill of the driveway, not many feet from the house.
It was so beautiful, touched me so deeply.
Though there's lots of marshland around the house and lots of protected woodlands, I would never have believed that in those woods, skirted by so many houses, there lived a deer.
This is a very heavy piece, bolted to the stone base. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me something about it.
