Here are my favorite earrings (at the moment). I know, I know, they look modern, and they are not antique. I brought the gems back from Indonesia and had 2 of the 3 set in earrings. I was disappointed when I got them from the jeweler, because I had asked for a simple design but I did not have modern in mind. But you know, they don't really look modern when worn - depends on what you wear them with. I love the secure back design with the loop over the post on a snap hinge - I don't have to worry about loosing one. I am going to have the 3rd one done while he is still around, but I can't decide on a brooch or pendant. I have another peridot which I bought myself when I graduated, and it is from parts unknown. I had a ring made of peridot and seed pearls, by a supposedly reputable jewelry design firm, but within about 5 years the seed pearls had been replaced a few times and then one of the claws broke and I decided to jag it in and save the stone for another application down the road. It is a beautiful, full colour peridot, although much smaller ring size - it is about 3/8 inch which gives you a reference on the lighter ones. I also have in waiting to be set two nice round garnets, one small and one large, and a small baguette amethyst. I love my little MOP box of real "gems", and I do love my peridot earrings.

JayHow, I am confused also:0 I have been single for 6+ years and have been on dating sites off and on for about that time. All I am finding are guys that want one thing ...and I do get propositioned. I won't bite....because I am searching for a real Man who wants the whole package. I have a double search to find the right Partner and a great Dad to my daughters. So far only the one night offers....LOL! That's California for you!!! Grass is always greener for the Guys:)
So I do believe that the right Gentleman is getting closer for me.....my eyes are wide open and I am ever hopeful:)) You gave me hope and you are blessed!!!!
