    This is one of my favourite Muff Guards from the Victorian Era. The was a treasure to find! I love wearing this and I double it up on the dog clasp so it looks like a flapper necklace...all is original and very fine. This acid tests for 12ct rose gold....its kind of a heavy chain...cheers!

      AmberRose, I learned abut Muff Guards by chance...looking at the Antique Books I have. I fell in love with the way they were handmade and I collect Muff Guards and Lorgnettes...I have a few of them...they are some of the coolest chains I have ever seen.
