I have a number of Scandinavian vases that I have recently found. I posted the big boy in the back last week. The second photo is a mystery to me. Looks like it hearalds from the North, but could use a little assist.
The third photo is IIttala Niva series. At least it is what I have found so far.
Lastly I found a Oiva Tioka Flora series with African animals. This is a shot of the inside, as it was a real bear (haha) to photograph.
All purchased (except the big one) for about two bucks!!! Yes I am totally cheap!!
On a side note, my favorite thrift just upped their prices. I understand, some some are well beyond retail. Like crazy pull numbers out of a hat crazy. Hopefully they will settle down, as nothing is selling. I would hate to find a new thrift boyfriend!
Picture no.3 is Tapio Wirkkala ARNICA vase. Congratulations! Number 4 showing animals cannot be Flora, but FAUNA, also by Oiva Toikka. As for the other three... I haven't got the faintest ide about what they can be. Great finds, Amber!!!
You're welcome, Bellin! Well, I knew it well cause I've got one just like that. There is another Arnica vase, taller and a bit narrower... I once wanted to collect Wirkkala's designs but he made so many and some of them can be so expensive I fortunately changed my mind about it! :)
Of course it's Fauna...I'll call it a blonde moment.

UPDATE: trolling around the Internet tonight, I ran into vase number 2! Apparently, there is some debate whether this is Lasisepat or Dansk Floriform.
