Hi Your cute doll is often referred to as a carnival type doll also has been called a Betty Boop type . She does not have a real name . She is a reproduction made by a person in a doll class where they supply molds and you paint it and they fire it for you . It was made in 1985 the intials are the maker who was just a doll collector who enjoyed making her own dolls . Very cute ! These types of dolls were popular in 1920-40's most often original ones were made in Japan but some came out of Germany and US .

Thank you, the person who gave it to me thought it was from the 1920's. Thank you I will check out Carnival Doll Bisque. I read the story on Rosie O'Neil too....she ended up in the Misouri Ozarks, I visitied her Doll Museum years ago.

Kewpie dolls always had wings and they look different than yours . Yes I heard Rosie has a museum . But you do not have a Kewpie :-( Glad to help . Your doll also was not made in 1920 it was made in 1985 but you can get an idea of the old ones by searching . Welcome to CW glad to have you with us :-)))))))
