Here's a nice original little Honda Cub 50 that I picked up this past winter.
It's a 1964, not restored, original paint, tires, etc. Only has 622 miles on it!
These had a push-rod engine, before Honda developed the OHC, over head cam motors.

These were all the rage in high school if your parents let you have one. Awesome!
I was not so lucky (too young).

I missed out on these also at the time, but they are a lot fun to play around on now when I find one every now & then.
      Thanks for the comment!

OMG......We had a red one like this with the front cowl on it too ( I think that was what it was called )

Yes knew what OHC is (as a girl) also know DOHC means
      = Double over-head Cam. LOL

Wow - Great Score, and such Fine condition !! A +++++

I was in the RAF just 19 in 1970, an Aircraft engine Mechanic/Fitter and had just passed my flying test so couldn't afford a car or the test, I did have a full bike license. My mate Mick Webb (where are you Mick?) fell off his Honda Cub 50 on the camp entrance road (Pissed up), we were based at Lindholme (now a Prison) and broke his arm, so he flogged it to me for a tenner I think it was... I used it to ride home to Baslow in Derbyshire about 86 mile round trip, never failed me twice a month for six months, then got a Mini Cooper S... :-) Still had the Honda when I left got married in 1974. I rode it for fun, and eventually the cam drive broke, I never got around to fixing it and gave it to pal to fix and keep... I missed that bike, almost as much as I missed my MY 2000 R1 when that went!

More of these sold than any other make or model motor cycle. They did run forever. Once saw one of these thrown from a tall building. Of course the wheels were destroyed. but the motor still cranked up.
