I wear these earrings very often. They are silver and I think the stone is topaz, but I'm not sure. In my opinion its to dark to be citrine. I believe they date from the fourties. They are very comfortable to wear, I dont have to worry about loosing them, they match with multiple outfits...You can see why I like them.
So what do you think about the stone?

Very nice and indeed wearable earrings. I detect the right color so well but could the stone not be garnet or is it not red enough?
Its more like a shade of brown, not red enough to be garnet and not yellow enough to be citrine...
For one I love your earrings & yes it would be a shame not to wear them as they would go with anything almost.
