My grandma gave this to me before she passed away and told me years ago a dealer offer her alot of money for it. I would like to know how old it is and what kind of wood. I think it's cherry but not sure. Theres a label on the bottom if that can help out. Thanks for any info.

Michigan Chair Co. (I) - (1883-1926) began in Grand Ledge; moved to Grand Rapids in 1890 combined with Luce, 1926. Here is the makers mark on that sticker http://www.michair.com/pdf/1925pricelist.pdf
