Here is a German made banquet lamp. Lamp metal parts are a combination of brass and gold colored white metal. Hand painted china sections have a purple, red, and green flower print as well as raised gold gilded scrolling designs. Upper oil font section is complete with chimney, burner, and clear glass oil tank. Chimney measures 10" tall and is acid marked CRISTAL with a large crown over the printing. Has a 3 inch diameter fitter gallery or shade ring. Came with a cranberry ball shade but it likely was not original. Brass burner is marked Brenner Kosmos on the wick adjustment knob. It uses a flat wick although the wick burn area is round. Lower metal section has a slightly weathered gold finish with most of the original paint intact. Base section is weighted with a thick piece of cast iron. The top side of this part (concealed area) has a paper label that reads Germany. China font section is slightly darker than the other china parts from normal use. Measures about 26" tall including chimney while china section measures 5" in maximum diameter. Lamp is in great condition overall with an aged brass colored patina and little wear to the original paint.
