Just got this brand new 1960's Milton Driveway Signal never used and still in the box with original instructions dated 1958 and warranty card. Box looks old and says Patent May 12, 1959. I Love the graphics on the instruction sheet. Another great piece for my Country Store/Gas Station.

gargoylecollector, get your own! I got it on ebay on bid or make offer and they took my offer, I do have a pile of stuff at work, 50's bicycle, parking meter, ruff coca cola sign, really bad Kendall sign, Trico display and more, can't get the boss to let me have it all!!

I'm just browsing old posts and this really stuck out because I have one of these!!
Tomorrow I will check for a date on it.
This was used at my dad's gas station for years so he would know as soon as a car drove into his lot. Then after he retired, he used it at home on his driveway so he would know when a car drove up.
Now, sadly, my dad has passed away and the driveway signal belongs to me. I do not have it in use, but should set it up.
It's very loud so you would never miss a car driving over the hose.

I have one kinda similar to it (though much newer no doubt) out in my carport to tell me exactly when I should make that final step on the brake pedal to park my truck. It is actually a current NAPA auto parts catalog product (at least as of a few yrs ago?) but is still just as fun to 'drive over' every time I come and go... ;-)
