This is for Agram - and sorry to all that my photo skills are not professional. Faceted cherry bakelite necklace 17" - has been restrung on chain (pic 2). Largest bead is 1". Picture 3 shows the beautiful hints of deep red. I found this 10 years ago and didn't pay too much because it wasn't on original thread I believe that the original necklace would have been longer.
Thank you Lee for loving this right away!
I love it...I bought my mother several of these and natural Baltic Amber beads like the ones on CW
Aren't they neat? Do you think Agrams is a Baltic amber necklace?
Thank you Tony for your love.
Love it. I have a similar one but I think yours is a bit darker.
Thank you Phil for your love.
Thank you Newtimes - I couldn't get a good picture of this. You've posted your necklace and it is really gorgeous.
Thank you bratjdd for your nice comment and love.
Thank you Phil, antiquaries and nldionne for your love!
LUCKY YOU Very beautiful, sorry I didn't see this beautiful Bakelite necklace earlier.
Thank you Sean and Leah for your love.
Thank you Agram - it is a pretty necklace but I am not sure about the quality after I've seen many more posted on CW and ebay. I know it is bakelite but it doesn't have the rich red sparkle - maybe it was a cheaper item.
It is still a very nice necklace, any piece has a still more beautiful equal but all antique with its own history and age.
Thank you MJ Agram for your nice comment!
Valentino97, there is not such a thing as bad quality bakelite. If you want your necklace to sparkle, you can clean it and polish with simichrome. I hope this helps
Yes - MJ Agram - I do wear it and it is noticed and polish it up once in awhile too. Thank you Sean and Mike for your love.
How nice! Yours is larger than mine! As for the sparkle: mine didn't sparkle either but when I started to carefully clean it, it began to look much better. The beads were so dirty!
Very nice beads and necklace!
Elisabeth - aren't these pretty? Thank you and also to Newtimes and Gudrun for your comments.
