    Can anyone identify the approximate date of this sign. It measures 36” x 18” and displays very well. The surface is unmarred and only has the classic Coca Cola bottle. At the bottom it says “Made in the USA” and "R.C. Co 5-48". It came in this frame which has no identification marks.

      Thank you for your responses. Does anyone know what R.C. Co. 5-48 mean. I found that the RC Company is the Royal Crown Company which is a competitor of Coca Cola.

      The 5-48 is actually an order code for this sign. A lot of people mistake it for a date.

      Actually, I've seen this particular sign with many variations in numbering, so I believe in this case it is a date code.
