**Posted again since the first time was deleted - attention, this is in no way an ad for anything**

Being a sign lover, as well as a graphic designer, one of my all-time favorites are the golden arches of McDonald's. These arches were welded into the fencing around the playground area and some entrance walkways at McDonald's restaurants from the early 1970s to the early 1990s. The sign in the picture originates from a Dallas-area McDonald's franchisee who was clearing out his storage unit.

I have more signs from my collection to share so keep a look out!
    Cheers and Happy 4th everyone!

Not a problem, 50s - you're just looking out for the site and I admire that. A great bunch that I'm happy to be a part of.

I agree with what you're saying about McDonald's pieces. There is a big market out there for fast food, especially McDonald's, but some people at store level still don't see much need to save anything, thus scrapping them. More to come!
