I was told that this is a Contemporary canister with blue & white transfer decoration bears an apocryphal mark of the Qing Kangxi reign (1662-1722). Now I want to know what does this all mean? If you know please comment

Contemporary means, "con" - with, "tempo" - time, = "with the time," or "current." New.
