    What the heck is this???

I picked this interesting item up recently. But I have to admit, I have no idea what it is??? There's pretty much no information on the internet for the patent no. or the stayput - denver mark.

    Help please?!

Thanks! That seems to be exactly what it is. Don't know why I couldn't find it on eBay myself, was checking all last night.

I bought that No. 2 Snubber tool as seen in the Ebay ad because I just like tools.
Can someone provide it's function and directions on it's operation? THANK YOU!

Mine is identical to yours, which is the only example I could find with the pistol grip and round adjustment handle. After seeing yours with its round handle painted green, I noticed my much more rusted example had traces of same green paint.

This invention relates to implements for applying clamps to hose for the usual purpose of securing one hose-section to another or for the attachment of a coupling-member at an end of a hose."
