    These are some more of mine
    the blue torpedo again from the U K
    was sealed with a cork and wired down >it had to lay on its side to keep the cork wet and stop it from drying out (if it did it would shrink and the gas would escape)
    the second is a hybrid ..marble bottle top and the torpedo bottom
    my favorite to collect again had to lay on its side as it had the pointed bottom (though there were stands for these and torpedos ..and they themselves are very collectable )
    then the early codd bottles ... these ones are earlier narrowed necked ones and were able to stand upright and not loose the gas

      I love your blue torpedo bottle so much. I have a mission now to find me one of those :) I collect blue glass bottles myself, but didn't know such a lovely thing existed. You're much envied here .

      yes blue glass is great .. thats what started me collecting
      this bottle comes from the U.K but there is many blues around ..... they were used for medicines poisons prefumes etc have a look on ebay uk you see a few there
      love ur bottle .. guessed it as a perfume / make up but was just a random guess
      keep on digging as u can find the blues the same places u found yours
      you are in Aussie ?? im in brissy ...
