This is today's find at SA boutique shop for $2.50. This is came in the day as the Antique Vase I posted yesterday. He is so cute and maybe missing part of his tail. HELP Can anyone tell me anything..he is super heavy...brass? He measures 3.25 x 3.50 ... he weighs 224.45 grams...WOW!

Yes . I use a magnetic to tell if the handles on old furniture are period.. If it doesn't attract ,you have a brass horse.

She is a beauty, I was hoping it was part of the style not having the tip of the tail as I have seen that affect before on such items, but in this case from what I see from photo it's not part of the making but it still is a beauty. Leah do you get that sort of file mark on ivory.
