Okay - here's something gaudy and fun. Something my Grandma might have worn on her polyester leisure-suit jacket. Actually - she had great taste I found these elsewhere. Now are becoming quite collectible - and I only have these. Honest I swear!

Pic 1: 4"x1.75" It looks great on a simple vintage sweater. Picture 2: 2" orange clusters- and I LOVE both of these.

Pic 3: Isn't this a great cigar box? And perfect for me because I was born in Tampa.

Hi Newtimes and Zowie for your love and nice comments. The box is actually a cigar box 7"x6"x2" and I used it to show off my pins. Tampa, Florida is fairly close to the tobacco states (Virginia, N & S Carolina) and also Cuba. This box held "tip cigars - mild as a cigarette, priced at 2 for .15, .6 but not more than .8 cents!"

Zowie - I'm a retail clothing merchandiser - I go into stores and group my products together (pretty boring actually can't do anything creative) but in my own home I enjoy showing things off and change stuff around all the time. I have really great wall art and some nice old furniture and little "displays" where I show off my latest obsession.

Nadia thank you for enjoying my collecting world - we will get together sometime and you will be very afraid when you see how messy my crib is...does anyone say crib anymore? Or pad or lair?

Val... Seriously doubt your crib is scary... You have beautiful collections and I am sure with your talent, it's just perfect.

Thank you Amber - these were dimestore items - so many of them out there. A couple of times I've seen whole groups of them on ebay and some matching earrings. Used to be cheap but now they are more than the $5.00 rule.

Thanks Nadia! It's much less than perfect around here but thank you for the nice comments. Most of my collections are organized in old 1940's hosiery boxes or shoeboxes so I can FIND things! Ha, ha - still lose stuff now and again....
