I was set up at a flea market this past weekend selling some of my junk, and started talking to a lady about advertising signs, she said her grandfather owned a dairy farm in Frankfort Indiana in the 1950's and had a couple of original dairy signs that were never hung and still had original brown paper on it. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! I was excited to get this sign because it's a local piece of history about 25 minutes from where I live and it looks great in my kitchen. The dairy farm was eventually bought out by Borden's.
