Does anyone have any idea what these are used for? Plants, bowls, balls can't figure it out. 7 inches tall and 4 inches across st top. Any ideas?

Thanks Phil. Sister brought them home from yard sale. I really like them so will find some kind of glass to put in them. Did you by chance see the victorian style etching that I posted. Amber thought you may have an idea of what it is.

I not sure if this was their intended purpose, but found a couple of these , very similar(don't know about marking) that were used at a funeral home as a arrangement holders. The old funeral home was overtaking by the county , after setting for 20+ years and we had to clean it out.
Oh great, now I'll have to call the haunted collector. LOL.
