I just got this one, and now I can "Czech" another Loetz Phanomen vase off my list; PG 1/104 from 1901. This is an incredibly complex pattern, with waves of blue and red on a gold oil-spot background. This is also a very large example; standing 7" tall it is 8" wide at the shoulder. A wonderful shape, this wide form allows the decor to really shine through, and the detail on this one is very fine. One thing I can say for sure is that this vase is of much higher quality than my puns, and most of my jokes. Maybe I should do like many others and just let the vase speak for itself. Can you hear it?
