Who made this Italian bowl?

I am trying to find out more about this bowl. The closest information I have is that it might be made by Michel Elchinger...but I can't find the makers mark like this one has "ELF." It has hand written numbers 4655 in the center of the bottom of bowl. It has a very small stamp in the under glaze of what looks like the number 10. It has a stamp in the under glaze with the letters ELF. From researching and talking to other collectors this was most likely made in China and maybe exported to Germany or France. The size of the bowl is 10 inches in diameter when measuring it from the top and it slightly bows out as you move from the top to the bottom. The height of the bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches. The bowl is 4 inches deep from inside bowl to rim. Weighs 4.16 pounds or 1888 grams. If anyone can help me solve this...I would be very grateful.
