Imperial Art Glass

Ernie Albanese's Imperial Art Glass site features more than 500 photographs of vases, baskets, candlesticks, and bowls produced by the venerable Bellaire, Ohio, glass factory in the 1920s (the company itself operated from 1904 to 1984). Organized around Imperial's Free Hand and Lead Lustre work, the site showcases designs like Leaf and Vine and surface treatments such as Spider Webbing and Crizzled Throat. There's also has a section on pieces signed as Nuart but made by Imperial.
