The Magic Lantern Society

This website is a great guide to the mysteries of the Magic Lantern, forerunner of today's slide projector (well, ok, Powerpoint slide show). Click on the Lantern History tab to view historical information plus many pages of great magic lantern images from different eras and geographies. There are also examples of Magic Lantern slides. The Publications tab is also worth a look, and there's a 'Directory of Active Lanternists' under the Information tab which you can potentially use to find a local magic lantern show.
