    1808 half with concave edge. The coin has the usual lettering but no ornamental markings. The edge is also recessed somewhat from the coins surfaces. Anyone see this before?

      I have this same coin, literally. I don't want to be a 'Buzz Kill' but it wouldn't be a bad idea to check it with a magnet. I got taken with mine, hopefully you have a better outcome! Cheers!
