    Approx five feet tall (on casters)
    Made of oak or pine? Dark due to smoke damage but original colour shown in one photo. I would really just like to know what this piece was intended for and possibly what company produced it.

      Excellent! I never thought of that ( it being meant for a dining room) I think its a fabulous size as you could easily have it in an apartment. If you manage to find a maufacturer for the hardware I'd be amazed and greatful! I am new to the world of antiques and love every bit of info I can get!
