First Edition, First Printing of Charles Darwin's "The Descent Of Man" Dated 1871. 2 Volumes. It's an American edition published by D. Appleton & Co, New York. Does anyone know how many of the first American edition, first printing were made of this? There seems to be more information available on the British printing, but not the American/D. Appleton & Co. first edition. Thanks.
