Hi I have had thease earrings for many years and I done much research into the marks on the back but to no avail
The amethyst ones are beautiful with tiny seed pearls they feel like absolute quality but cannot find out as mark on back says PT
The gold and onyx ones feel Victorian but really not sure and funny enough they have same mark PT
Has anyone any idea how old they are of what material they maybe
Any help would be appreciated thanks annmac

I can't see the marks on the back - but I've never come across "PT" as a mark either. Given the styles, I'd say early 1980s & maybe at either a department store or home party group. Sometimes stores had manufacturers put their own "house" mark on jewelry. Do you remember when or where you got them?
I got them at a flea market funny thing is I have a pair of what looks like Victoiran rose gold and onyx drop earrings and they have PT as well so totally confused.
thanks for answering my request take care Scottish annmac
