Fantastic Sign collection. I love advertising signs,
Is that a Pepsi paper towel dispenser?
Garages are for cars ????
Thanks Stihl collector. I love them too. This is only one corner of the garage. I have a lot of street signs throughout the garage too. One of my dad's friends worked for the city years ago. When they got rid of signs he would give them to us. Most of them are not in very good shape, but I still love them. They are the signs that I grew up seeing every day in my town.
VIking, it's not a pepsi paper towel dispenser. Someone had just put a pepsi sticker on it at one time.
Vontrike, I know exactly what you mean. I have a really nice garage, but my car never sees it.
From what I can see they look pretty darn nice and the best part is a lot of them were free. I would not turn them away, I like all advertising signs.
That dispenser is probably close to 100 years old. That logo on the sticker was used from 1906-1930.
Here's a couple pics of part of one of the other walls. You can see the dispenser from the side in the one. And one of my gas pumps in the other. Do you think that dispenser is actually a pepsi one? I thought that someone had just stuck that there.
post a pic of your gas pump
I'll have to take more pics. I'll post some more tomorrow after I get out there and take some pics.
I have a couple other pumps, but I am selling those. They are in my dad's garage. I think I can only post 4 pics from what it looks like here. I'll just put those on a separate page. Loading them now.
